Bits is entering its next phase of growth, and we’re scaling the team and operations to match our ambitions. Therefore we’re now hiring a Head of Finance to take full ownership of our financial function and help build the foundation for our next chapter.
What you can expect
This is a broad, high-impact position where you will combine operational finance, strategic finance, and business development in a fast-paced start up environment.
You will work closely with our CEO and Executive Team from our office in central Stockholm. Your responsibilities will range from overseeing financial operations, including customer billing, budget management, provide financial transparency to support the CEO and enable informed decision-making. You’ll also strengthening internal processes and manage the accounting function in collaboration with our external accounting partner, ensuring robust internal controls, monthly/annual closings and general compliance work.
What we look for
To continue striving toward that mission, we’re now looking for our first person for our finance function as Head of Finance to join the team. We believe you have;
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar (Master’s or MBA considered a bonus)
3+ years of experience in a finance role, with strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in areas relevant to this position.
Solid understanding and experience from accounting, FP&A, customer billing, financial operations and SaaS metrics
Experience from a high-growth environment, management consultancy or similar
Deep expertise and experience working in Excel – building complex financial models
