The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for Transaction Monitoring to own and evolve one of the most critical parts of the Bits platform. You’ll be responsible for shaping product strategy, driving execution, and ensuring our transaction monitoring capabilities meet both regulatory expectations and real-world operational needs.
This role sits at the intersection of financial crime prevention, data, and product leadership, and is ideal for someone who understands both AML realities and modern SaaS product development.
What You’ll Do
Own the product vision and roadmap for transaction monitoring at Bits
Lead discovery and delivery for features such as rules engines, scenarios, alerts, typologies, and case workflows
Work closely with compliance experts, customers, and regulators’ expectations to translate requirements into scalable product solutions
Partner with engineering to design high-quality, performant, and explainable monitoring systems
Define and track success metrics (alert quality, investigation efficiency, coverage, etc.)
Support customer onboarding, implementations, and strategic client discussions when needed
Act as a subject-matter leader internally on transaction monitoring and AML trends
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with significant ownership of complex B2B SaaS products
Strong domain expertise in transaction monitoring, AML, or financial crime prevention
Experience working with rules-based systems, data pipelines, or risk/scoring models
Ability to collaborate deeply with engineering while remaining customer- and outcome-focused
Comfortable navigating regulatory ambiguity and turning it into clear product direction
Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders across product, commercial and tech
Experience in fintech, RegTech, banking, or payments is a strong plus
